Nissan may want to change the Altima to the Ultimate because the all-new 2023 Altima is giving main character energy. You have to check out this sedan packed with updates that techies will love, splashes of design trends, and can’t miss user-friendly features. Maus Nissan of Crystal River has the lowdown on what you can expect from the updated 2023 Nissan Altima.

Seatbelt, first. Nissan’s commitment to safety has never been stronger. While Altima’s redesigned features are fun and fabulous, it is the suite of driver-assistance technologies that remain priceless. Known as ProPilot Assist, this cluster of safety features remains standard on the SL and available on the SR and SV trims. However, new active safety features like rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and others are now standard on all lower-level trims.

Engine performance carries over from previous Altima generations. Expect her to produce 188 horsepower and 180lb.-ft of torque on the 2.5-liter four-cylinder. Available in front or all-wheel drive, drivers will enjoy the smooth experience that stems from the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). With the dropped Platinum trim, there are five remaining trims, S, SV, SR, SL, and SR VC-Turbo that will make choosing your dream car a bit harder. The SR’s sporty design includes a unique grille design and badging that may cause a scene.

Inside the serene cabin, all trim upgrades include a larger 12.3” touchscreen infotainment system than its 8” predecessor. Make sure to check out features like the dual-contrast stitching on the SR and the new additions in the SL and SR VC-Turbo like wireless phone charging and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Currently on sale, the Altima’s pricing has been updated to start at $26,385 for the base S model and increase to $36,085 for the SR VC-Turbo model. The Turbo also added standard features like leather upholstery and automatic climate control to offset the increase that affected all the trims.
