Big Updates Coming to the 2023 Nissan Altima Post

So fresh and so clean. Nissan has improved the 2023 Altima experience by adding a bevy of visual updates, user-friendly features, and a tech-forward facelift. Maus Nissan of Crystal River has the lowdown on what you can expect from the updated 2023 Nissan Altima. She is indeed ready for her close-up.

Once known as only a family sedan, the Altima has become a chameleon. With a redesigned V-motion grille, eye-catching branding throughout, and black chrome trim meant to cause a scene, the Altima has leveled up. Performance-wise, the standard engine is stacked with a 188 horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that pairs well with front or all-wheel drive. If you want to go fast, check out the SR trim that delivers a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with variable compression ratio (VC-Turbo) on the front-wheel drive. With either trim, drivers will enjoy the smooth experience that stems from the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).

The 2023 Altima may look similar to its predecessors but rest assured, it has some surprises to appreciate. Enjoy a larger 12.3” touchscreen that brings crisp graphics and fun features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On the SR trim, a new finish hugs the gauge cluster as it meets a new dual-stitch fabric for ultimate luxury.

The Altima may have been upgraded but safety always remains a foundational feature. Nissan’s Pro-Pilot Assist, a driver-assistance suite of technologies, is still standard on the SL and continues with the SR and SV models. There is also the addition of active safety features that were once optional on the lower-level trims. Lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and more are now standard.
